These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of www.handbookgenerator.com and the services provided by Rize Market LLC d/b/a Handbook Generator (“Handbook Generator,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Handbook Generator is a business software product that helps users create, store, edit, and download employee handbook drafts and related materials. The service uses software automation and AI-assisted generation to produce draft handbook content based on the information you provide.
This service is intended for businesses, business owners, operators, managers, and other adults acting on behalf of a business or organization. By using the service, you represent that you are legally able to enter into these Terms.
Handbook Generator uses passwordless magic-link sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining control of the email account tied to your access. If someone gains access to your email account, they may be able to access your Handbook Generator account.
You may enter business and handbook-related information into the service, including company details, policies, edits, and related materials. You are responsible for making sure that information is accurate, lawful, and appropriate for your use.
You retain responsibility for your business content. We may host, store, process, reformat, and display that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
Certain features require payment. Payments are processed by Stripe, not by us directly. If you purchase a subscription, you may cancel it at any time through the billing portal or by following the applicable account workflow. Cancellation stops future renewal charges, but does not undo charges already processed.
Standard plan ($97 one time). You can get a full refund if you ask within 30 days of your purchase. Email help@handbookgenerator.com from the email address you bought with. We send the refund to your original payment method within 5 business days. One refund per customer.
Pro plan ($597 a year). You can get a full refund if you ask within 7 days of your purchase, as long as you have generated one employee handbook or fewer and have not turned on white label branding. After 7 days there are no refunds, but you can cancel at any time and your plan will not renew.
Add ons. Spanish translation ($29) and Keep It Current ($49 a year) are refunded together with the plan they were bought with, inside the same window. Renewal charges for Keep It Current or Pro can be refunded if you ask within 7 days of the charge.
Team seats and white label branding. Same 7 day window as Pro.
After a refund. Your employee handbook, downloads, and any add ons go back to locked. You can keep the two free preview sections.
Handbook Generator is not a law firm. A refund does not change the disclaimers elsewhere in these Terms.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own internal business purposes.

Employment laws vary by state, city, industry, and factual situation. Laws also change over time. You are responsible for reviewing any generated handbook or policy with your own qualified attorney or employment counsel before adopting, distributing, or relying on it.
We do not guarantee that any output generated by the service is complete, error-free, legally sufficient, or compliant with every law, regulation, ordinance, or employment requirement that may apply to your business.
We may change, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Handbook Generator and its owners, affiliates, vendors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, employment claim, regulatory issue, or legal dispute arising out of or related to your use of the service or generated content.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Handbook Generator, Rize Market LLC, and related parties from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of your use of the service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your use of generated materials.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be handled in the appropriate state or federal courts located in Ohio, and you consent to that venue and jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of the page.
